Calculating Stripline Impedance

Below is a download of an Excel program will a built-in equation that may be used to calculate stripline impedance.

Inputs:

er - relative dielectric constant
b - dielectric thickness
w - conductor width
t - conductor thickness

Output:

Zo - output impedance in ohms

Specifications:

• Program designed for Windows/NT platforms
• The StriplineZo.exe is a program that will self-extract the Stripline.xls file
• Stripline.xls may be used on Excel 5.0/7.0 or Excel 97

Instructions for installation:

• Double-click on the StriplineZo.exe file
• Select the destination of the Stripline.xls file
• Double-click on the Stripline.xls file
